Accommodation Services

Salvation Army Housing (SAH) provides accommodation for low-income households, including those households who are facing financial hardship and those living with a disability, on a not-for-profit basis across South Australia.

Salvation Army Housing homes are only allocated to individual and families on the SA Governments Community Housing Customer Register (CHCR). The register is differentiated by need. There are three main categories of need. SAH aims to make the majority of allocations from the category one and two – those most in need.

The registration process requires a prospective tenant to provide basic information about themselves and anyone else who will be living at the property. The prospective tenant must complete a registration with their support worker. Please note SAH cannot assist with completing registrations or referrals to support services.

Once the “Registration of Interest” (ROI) has been uploaded it will automatically allocate a category which SAH will then advise the prospective tenant directly via letter.

SAH is open:

Monday: 11am – 4.00pm

Tuesday – Friday: 9.00am – 4.00pm

Closed weekends and all public holidays)
