Positive Lifestyle Program

The Salvation Army's Positive Lifestyle Program is a fully supported eight module course that helps you gain a deeper understanding of who you are as a person.

With the program covering a wide range of topics, including:

- Self-awareness,

- anger,

- depression and loneliness,

- stress,

- grief and loss,

- assertiveness,

- self-esteem,

- future directions;

The Positive Lifestyle Program helps empower people to change their way of life and reach their true potential.

This program is offered at Salivation Army offices located in Marion, Murray Bridge, Noarlunga, Port Augusta and Victor Harbor.

MensLine Australia

MensLine Australia is the national telephone and online support, information and referral service for men with family and relationship concerns. Professional counsellors are experts in men's health, anger management, family violence, substance abuse, healthy relationships and integrated wellbeing.

This is a free service available to all male members of the public and can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere in Australia.

MensLine can be contacted on 1300 78 99 78 or using their online chat service.

Australian Men's Shed Association

The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) offers a safe and friendly shed environment for members to work on meaningful projects with a focus on health and wellbeing.

To find a Men's Shed location visit - www.mensshed.org and click on the 'Find a Shed' tab and enter your suburb and postcode to find a Men's Shed near you.

Green Gym

Green Gym offers a fun and free physical activity program where participants will be guided in practical conservation activities that will help to transform and restore urban green spaces for the whole community to enjoy.

MEGA - Mums Exercise Group Australia

MEGA provides all mothers, grandmothers and mothers to be, of all backgrounds with access to free and low cost exercise options.

All MEGA events are facilitated by volunteer mums who are just as keen as you to encourage others to get out and about and into a healthier lifestyle. Events are also child friendly unless otherwise advertised.

Most importantly MEGA aims to provide a supportive, encouraging environment and there are no lock in contracts or fees to pay to become a member.
