The Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme (DHOAS) is a home loan subsidy scheme available to eligible current and former ADF members.

Soldier On's Vet Connect provides assistance with transitioning from Defence.
Vet Connect assists veterans in rebuilding a sense of family and camaraderie of service. A Vet Connect weekend consists of activities such as shared meal times, outdoor adventure activities, group sessions, learning opportunities, creative classes, relaxation, and plenty of time to connect with other veterans in a safe and supportive environment.
Supports include:
- Mental and physical health strategies.
- Relationship building and life skills.
- Connection with other veterans.
- Psychologists available.
All veterans who have served in the Australian Defence Force (ADF), even for one day, are entitled to a complimentary Veteran Health Check.
This essential health assessment, conducted by your general practitioner (GP), enhances your understanding of your overall health and well-being.
Supports include:
- Manage and take charge of your own health.
- Take action to stay well.
- Address health concerns early.
- Develop a relationship with your new GP.
The Veterans Connect and Wellbeing Program assist Veterans and their families by supporting individuals to navigate the system of Veteran services available in South Australia.
Catalyst Foundation aims to act as a state-wide central referral point for Veterans and their families to connect with communities and local services in metropolitan and regional SA through an online directory of specialised services.
Supports include:
- Linking Veterans to vital wellbeing support services.
- Highlighting family and community support pathways.
- Creating resources through already established social connections.
- Encouraging Veterans and their families to engage in events.
- Building capacity and available resources / information that will support Veterans to connect.
WASP is a free, voluntary program linking you with a Wellbeing and Support Case worker who will work with you to develop your agreed wellbeing goals.
Any veteran who has accepted conditions under the MRCA/DRCA/VEA can be considered for an assessment.
Supports include:
- Up to 12 month program with a Wellbeing and Support Case Worker.
- Connection with local services in the community.
- Supports to achieve your goals.
