Provides information, advocacy and case management to young people aged 10-25 living in the southern or western regions of Adelaide to support them through life's challenges.
Supports include:
- Navigate mental health issues.
- Develop practical life skills.
- Reconnect and continue education.
- Connect with the local community.
- Get involved in group based programs.
- Build capacity.
- Access other community services and support.
Provides case management and mentorship to youth aged 5-25 who identify as young carers in Northern Adelaide, including the Barossa, Lower Light and surrounding areas.
Coordinators work with young carers for up to 12 months, assisting with goal-setting and fostering self-advocacy and independence.
Services include:
- Improve young carers’ wellbeing.
- Increase education and employment opportunities.
- Strengthen connections with communities, support networks and services.
Provides moderate to high mental health care needs to youth aged 12-25 years.
The YES program has a team of clinicians and healthcare professionals who provide psychological support and other care as needed.
Services include:
- Clinical care.
- Care Coordinators.
- Lived experience peer workers.
- Care plan.
Provides free legal advice, court representation and legal information to young people.
Help to understand and support you if you have a legal dispute, have been questioned or charged by police, or you need information about the legal system and your rights.
Services include:
- Representation in youth court.
- Helping you deal with police, including if you are a victim of crime.
- Minor criminal matters.
- Fines and infringements.
- Consumer and contract issues.
- Employment issues.
- Tenancy.
- Family law and family violence.
- Motor vehicle matters.
- Civil law.
- Legal support relating to Centrelink issues.
- Navigating the NDIS, understanding your rights and how to resolve issues.
- Credit issues eg. Mobile phone contracts, credit cards, payday lenders etc.
- Leaving home.
- Medical Rights and consent.
- Providing community legal education.
Youth Options help people aged 14 to 30 to build their capacity to set and achieve their goals for a thriving future.
Supports include:
- Overcome barriers.
- Realise their own potential.
- Build confidence, skill development and work readiness.
- Safely shift self-limiting beliefs and behaviours.
- Access the tools and support they need to explore and shape the future they imagine.
