The Salvation Army You’re the Boss program is a free financial skills program that helps people build confidence and practical knowledge to better manage their money and avoid financial stress.

Delivered by The Salvation Army’s Moneycare service that helps individuals understand their relationship with money, develop better financial habits and gain the skills needed to manage everyday expenses with confidence. Through workshops, online resources and practical tools, participants learn how to plan, budget and make informed financial decisions for long-term wellbeing

Be the Boss is a follow-on or complementary learning component of the program that focuses on putting money skills into action. It encourages participants to take control of their finances, build positive financial habits and apply what they’ve learned to real-life situations such as managing bills, saving and planning for the future.
