Coastal Community Support Services Community Pantry is a resource for people who are struggling to make ends meet.
You can go in and help yourself to their Community Pantry if you need.
To ensure fairness and accessibility for everyone, they kindly request that each person takes only one of each product.
You may also be requested to fill out a register so that they may manage who has been given products from the Community Pantry.
AnglicareSA provides food, support and advocacy for individuals and families in need. AnglicareSA Emergency Assistance sites are located in Adelaide City, Elizabeth, Christies Beach, Woodville, Wallaroo & Whyalla.
They provide relief through the provision of food, pharmacy vouchers (for prescribed medication), blankets and other linen. Emergency Assistance is available Monday to Friday (from 9am–12pm). Please note each service and its phone line will close when capacity has been reached for the day.
Most Emergency Assistance locations require you to call to make a booking. Check the specific location if you are required to book an appointment.
Baptist Care SA's homelessness services, located in Millers Court, Adelaide (just off Wright Street), provide a safe place for individuals to access food, shelter, support, advocacy, and referrals.
Community Food Hub
The Baptist Care SA Community Food Hub, situated at 216 Wright Street, offers low-priced groceries to anyone with a concession card or Immi card, including pensioners, students, and people experiencing homelessness.

WestCare Centre
The WestCare Centre operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 10:30 am and 11:30 am to 1 pm (closed on public holidays).
- Free Breakfast: 9 am to 10:30 am.
- Lunch: 12 noon, $2.50 for a three-course meal (a free option of pie/soup is also available).
- Free Coffee/Tea: 9 am to 3 pm.
On Sundays, the centre is open from 10 am to 1 pm, offering free tea/coffee from 10 am and free lunch from 12 noon to 1 pm.
Additionally, the centre provides access to warm showers, free laundry services, legal services, health care, and other support services to enhance health and wellbeing.
Emergency Relief
Baptist Care SA's pantry is stocked with non-perishable food and household items, thanks to generous donors and Emergency Financial Assistance government grants. Over 2,000 emergency relief parcels are distributed annually.
- Emergency Relief (ER) Appointments: Available at 11-19 Millers Court, Adelaide, for singles, couples, and families. Appointments are available Monday to Thursday (10 appointments per day) from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

There are organisations across South Australia that help people struggling with the cost of living pressures by providing the basic essentials. Support such as food, food vouchers, e-vouchers, blankets, clothes, assistance with bills, utilities and furniture. Help may also include medications, access to free glasses, and referrals for assistance with dental care.
Many centres provide budget counselling and mentoring, financial counselling, personal counselling and links to other community programs.

They offer both hot and cold meals, along with fresh fruits and vegetables, bakery items, dairy products, pantry staples, cereals, toiletries, tea, coffee, clothing, and footwear.
Through their compassionate approach and commitment to providing vital resources, Cos We Care strives to make a positive difference in the lives of those facing homelessness and vulnerability in the community.

ADRA, supported by the generosity of local businesses and Foodbank, offers crucial assistance to low-income individuals and families by providing access to free or low-cost produce and pantry items. Their community pantry, staffed by friendly volunteers, distributes fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, and other essential groceries. Concession card holders can benefit from low-cost groceries, ensuring everyone has access to nutritious food. This valuable service is accessible from multiple Seventh-day Adventist and ADRA op shops across the state. Through this initiative, ADRA helps alleviate food insecurity and supports community well-being.
