Hepatitis SA is a non-profit, community-based organisation that provides information, education and support services to South Australians affected by hepatitis B and hepatitis C. This includes people with hepatitis B or C, their family and friends, and professionals who support them. We also provide hepatitis C and Needle and Syringe Program (NSP) peer education and support services and operate an NSP secondary site.

Hepatitis SA provides confidential support for people affected by viral hepatitis, including a telephone information and support line, face-to-face information sessions and regular support groups at Port Adelaide and Hackney.

If you need to speak to someone for support on hepatitis-related issues, call the Helpline on 1800 437 222.

The Hepatitis SA Helpline is free, confidential and non-judgmental. It is available Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, to people living with hepatitis B or C, their family, friends, or service providers.

You can access live chat on the Hepatitis SA website.

If you are affected by hepatitis B or C and would prefer to speak to somebody in person for support, call 1800 437 222 to make an appointment for a face-to-face session.
